Medline Industries, LP is looking for a Supervisor of Operations to oversee production scheduling, inventory management, and team leadership. This role ensures our business service levels are met through effective operational coordination and supervision.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate production scheduling, monitoring and adjusting forecasts to meet business needs.
- Monitor and ensure adequate inventory levels across all branches to meet the business's service level.
- Prepare WIP reports within the AS400 system.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse team to set shipping priorities according to each branch's consumption rate.
- Ensure adequate availability of raw materials for production.
- Lead the day-to-day activities of your team, assigning work, monitoring progress, and providing technical guidance on complex issues. You'll provide input on hiring, performance reviews, and terminations.
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in operations and supply chain management.
- A strong background in operational processes.
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Windows, AS400, and SAP.
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel, including functions like SUM, formatting, chart creation, sorting, and page setup.
Nice to Have
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or an equivalent field.
