SYNAOS GmbH is hiring a Support Operations Engineer (all genders) to ensure the smooth operation of our customers' SaaS environments in the cloud. You'll be the point of contact for customers, managing, monitoring, and optimizing their environments while collaborating with our product teams.
What You'll Do
- Prioritize, analyze, and troubleshoot issues in customer environments within defined response and resolution times.
- Coordinate changes and actively improve the support function to optimize the user experience.
- Document systems and configurations.
- Take on-call shifts to ensure the best possible customer support.
- Support customers with questions regarding software operation and configuration.
- Work closely with product development and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth operations and improve IT processes.
- Manage, monitor, and optimize SaaS environments on staging and production clusters.
What We're Looking For
- A degree or specialized training in computer science or equivalent.
- Very good English skills are mandatory.
- The ability to quickly learn new situations and find pragmatic solutions.
- Skill in communicating complex contexts to customers in a precise and understandable way.
- A positive and empathetic attitude when dealing with customers.
Nice to Have
- Basic IT skills in Linux, networking, and an understanding of REST API interfaces.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes environments.
- Experience working with YAML files.
- Experience with dashboard analysis tools like Grafana.
- Experience in logs analysis with observability platforms such as Opensearch, Kibana, or similar.
- Fluent German language skills.
