Saab Australia is looking for a Supply Quality Manager to safeguard the quality of purchased items, materials, and subsystems from the start. You will play a key role in our procurement and development process, working proactively to ensure our high standards are met. This position involves close collaboration with suppliers in Sweden and Europe.
What You'll Do
- Ensure Saab's procurement strategy, policies, and processes are followed.
- Be responsible for quality requirements in RFQs, contracts, and purchase orders.
- Participate in supplier selection and procurement preparatory work.
- Monitor and analyze suppliers' quality performance.
- Initiate and lead supplier improvement programs.
- Manage complaints regarding non-conforming material and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Establish and maintain control plans and quality scopes.
- Collaborate with internal quality and procurement functions.
What We're Looking For
- University degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience in quality work, preferably in supplier chain or procurement-related roles.
- Good knowledge of quality tools and methods such as root cause analysis, risk analysis, capability analysis, and 8D.
- Structured, analytical, and confident in driving issues independently.
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with external parties.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, spoken and written.
