Star Pubs, part of HEINEKEN UK, is seeking a Supply Planner and Export Coordinator. In this role, you will manage end-to-end supply planning for packaging and raw materials while coordinating export operations to ensure seamless production and delivery.
What You'll Do
- Define purchasing tactics for all packaging and raw materials in collaboration with the supply planner and planning manager.
- Communicate with suppliers and set annual safety stock levels, typically in October/November for the following year.
- Coordinate material deliveries through regular and effective communication with suppliers.
- Issue 'call off' orders for materials based on pre-agreed conditions.
- Prepare and create process orders for bottling needs, analyses, statements, and calculations; you are responsible for fulfilling production plans.
- Manage material changes resulting from design and recipe updates.
- Prepare documentation for material scrapping, regularly report threats, and provide inputs to minimize scrapping costs.
- Set optimal inventory levels for all materials to ensure production plans while respecting warehouse capacities; maintain and enter supplier lead times into required software.
- Align export plans with the production plan, agree on volumes with the supply planner, and ensure smooth export deliveries while resolving any complaints.
