About the Role
This role is responsible for evaluating supply chain performance, identifying process improvements, and ensuring accurate data reporting to support decision-making across logistics and inventory functions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze transportation and warehousing data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Monitor inventory turnover and stock levels across distribution centers
- Generate regular reports on supply chain KPIs for leadership review
- Support procurement teams with supplier performance data
- Collaborate with logistics partners to resolve shipment discrepancies
- Track inbound and outbound freight metrics for accuracy and compliance
- Assist in forecasting demand to align inventory with market needs
- Evaluate vendor delivery performance and recommend adjustments
- Maintain data integrity in enterprise resource planning systems
- Identify root causes of supply chain disruptions and delays
- Develop dashboards to visualize supply chain performance trends
- Support cycle count processes and inventory reconciliation
- Conduct ad hoc analysis for operational improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with internal controls related to inventory handling
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on order fulfillment issues
- Assist in implementing new logistics technologies and tools
- Validate freight billing against contracted rates and service levels
- Track lead times for key product categories
- Participate in process standardization across regional distribution hubs
- Support continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing waste
- Monitor supplier onboarding documentation for completeness
- Analyze return goods processes and recommend efficiency gains
- Provide data analysis for audits and regulatory reporting
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of supply chain regulations
- Escalate supply chain risks to management in a timely manner
