GE Aerospace is looking for a Supplier Quality Operations and Industrialization Engineer to support our external supply base. In this role, you will drive the industrialization of part design and process changes linked to business-critical projects.
What You'll Do
- Work within policies, procedures, and regulations aligning with Industry and GE quality standards, including APQP deployment.
- Translate technical drawings, specifications, and processes to communicate data clearly between GE and suppliers.
- Build and manage action plans with suppliers and the extended GE team to meet project deliverables.
- Collaborate on action plan status, communicate issues, and escalate to activate problem-solving.
- Train and coach suppliers on execution elements, including submitting GE data and qualification packages.
- Provide onsite support at suppliers as needed, with travel required at a minimum of 25%.
- Provide succinct updates on project status, business impact, and significant issues for leadership.
- Make decisions using technical expertise and judgment, leveraging analytical thinking and internal resources.
- Apply proven interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with peers, teams, and various leadership levels.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years in Quality, Supplier Quality, or Supply Chain Manufacturing).
- A minimum of 5 years in Quality Systems, Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain Manufacturing, Design Engineering, or Repair Engineering.

- Strong background in supplier quality and management with knowledge of APQP.
