ALDO Group is seeking a Supervisor Fulfillment Labor Underground to lead a team of FTTH in-home and SMB installation technicians supporting Prince Telecom. In this role, you will supervise daily field operations, ensure quality and safety standards, and assist the Project Manager with large-scale projects, potentially taking the lead on assigned initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Supervise a team of FTTH in-home and SMB installation technicians.
- Coach, counsel, and evaluate the performance of field staff.
- Coordinate scheduling, assist dispatch with daily job routing, and ensure adequate staffing.
- Identify problem areas and communicate issues and possible solutions to the Project Manager.
- Develop and implement procedures to better organize the team and department.
- Assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to technicians.
- Assist in recruitment and training efforts.
- Assist in warehousing and logistics support as needed.
- Establish, implement, and maintain operating standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
- Track employee performance, tool assignments, vehicle assignments, and uniforms.
- Perform quality control inspections to correct and coach on any issues found.
- Interface with customers to resolve complaints and damages resulting from installation work.
- Perform various field technician duties as needed, including carrying and climbing a ladder.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 1 year of fiber optic or cable installation experience.
- Ability to perform mandatory job site inspections to ensure employee compliance with all company safety policies.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to work a very flexible schedule.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and last-minute changes.
- Must have exceptional customer service experience.
- Be a team player.
- Valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience and a good driving record.
Nice to Have
- Former supervisory experience is a plus.
