Revecore is looking for a Supervisor to lead our Workers' Compensation team. You will supervise department staff, assist the Workers' Compensation Director with process improvements and training, and diagnose and resolve departmental issues. You will play a key role in maintaining a collaborative and productive team environment.
What You'll Do
- Supervise the Workers' Compensation Department or a specific group of employees, carrying out all supervisory responsibilities.
- Identify, manage, and resolve employee performance and disciplinary issues.
- Meet and maintain department benchmarks and goals, including revenue and production targets.
- Develop individual and team benchmarks to foster high productivity.
- Monitor quality and productivity, making corrections when necessary.
- Conduct and review daily reports to assess employee and training needs, ensuring productive account management.
- Review, edit, and approve denial requests.
- Ensure Claims Specialists use correct text and respond to questions regarding the denial process.
- Develop employees to handle their own denial processing.
- Develop and conduct department training for new hires and continuous team development.
- Analyze accounts to ensure client placements meet company requirements and providers place quality accounts.
- Recommend process changes to achieve more efficient resolution.
- Communicate with clients regarding account questions and concerns.
- Work with other departments to facilitate best practices for overall effectiveness.
- Perform special projects as assigned.
- Maintain confidential information learned during work.
- Carry out supervisory duties including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
What We're Looking For
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- One to three years of Workers' Compensation experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Working knowledge of computer functions, including the internet, and software like the Microsoft Office suite.
- Thorough understanding of all equipment, methods, and procedures to effectively train new hires and upgrade skills of existing personnel.
- Proven ability to analyze and effectively resolve problems.
- Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities and adapt to situational demands.
- Demonstrated sense of personal and professional judgment and maturity.
- Willingness to take initiative on projects and responsibilities.
- Proven ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Must reside in the United States within one of the listed states.
Nice to Have
- BS/BA degree strongly preferred.
- One to three years of supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of or ability to learn AcciClaim software.
