The Athletic Media Company is hiring a Supervising Producer, Nights to lead our evening editorial production efforts. This remote role is central to delivering high-quality sports journalism to our subscribers.
What You'll Do
- Oversee and execute the nightly production schedule for digital content
- Collaborate with writers and editors across multiple sports leagues and time zones
- Ensure all published content meets editorial standards for accuracy and style
- Manage workflow and communication for the nights production team
- Coordinate breaking news coverage and live event storytelling
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a digital news production or similar editorial leadership role
- Deep knowledge of major North American sports leagues and their media landscapes
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with a distributed, remote team
- A commitment to journalistic integrity and high editorial standards
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position. The role requires availability during evening and night hours to align with the production schedule.
