Grifols is hiring a Summer Intern - Bioanalytics Analytical Research to learn the critical role of extractables and leachables in drug product quality and patient safety. You will gain hands-on experience in an analytical laboratory, contributing to method execution, data interpretation, and good laboratory practices.
What You'll Do
- Prepare samples, standards, and reagents for HPLC, UV, and MS analyses.
- Operate and maintain analytical instruments under supervision.
- Perform data acquisition, basic data processing, and documentation in laboratory notebooks.
- Draft standard operation procedures (SOP) for HPLC/UV/MS methods.
- Present results in inter-departmental meetings.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program pursuing a bachelor’s in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or a related field as a rising junior or senior; can also be a current Master’s or PhD student.
- GPA of at least 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to perform literature searches, read laboratory procedures, and document work in a laboratory notebook.
- Proficiency in laboratory skills including pipetting, use of balance, volumetric glassware, making solutions, and laboratory safety awareness.
Nice to Have
- Previous HPLC experience is preferred.
