Role OverviewAs a Senior Subcontract Administrator, you will lead the full lifecycle management of subcontracts supporting the development, production, and global sustainment of advanced defense systems. Operating within a regulated environment, you will ensure all procurement activities align with contractual requirements, company standards, and applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and draft subcontract requirements, including specifications, statements of work, and contractual terms for capital equipment, industrial materials, test systems, IT services, and related resources.
- Assemble bid packages, facilitate vendor conferences, and establish evaluation frameworks to assess supplier proposals effectively.
- Negotiate contract terms, recommend subcontractor selection, and manage post-award administration, including modifications and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with procurement and contracts teams to refine policies and improve procurement workflows.
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards such as FAR/DFAR, LMAP, CAP, and other applicable acquisition frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with federal procurement regulations including FAR/DFAR, LMAP, and CAP.
- Background in industrial services, building trades, machinery, maintenance, or related technical areas.
- Proven ability to manage complex workloads and deliver results efficiently.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise resource systems.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to facility access restrictions.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP/P2P/SC Nav platforms.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated leadership, delegation, and teamwork abilities.
- Background in supply chain operations, government procurement, or requirement documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role based at designated facilities in Camden, AR; Grand Prairie, TX; Orlando, FL; or Troy, AL. Employees will work remotely at least 50% of the time. The standard schedule follows a 4x10 hour workday model, providing three full days off each week. Alternate schedules may be available based on operational needs.
Compensation & Benefits
The annual base salary range is $69,900 – $123,280 for positions in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding major metro areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, and Washington DC. In major metropolitan areas of California, Massachusetts, and New York, the range is $80,400 – $139,380, with adjustments based on final work location. Additional compensation may include incentive plan eligibility.
