Celestica is looking for a Student Intern, Product Data Analytics to join our Global Quality organization. This role is ideal for a student interested in developing operational systems within a worldwide manufacturing company. You'll learn about and contribute to key functions that support our global quality initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Collect and organize product quality and reliability data from manufacturing and engineering teams to construct databases.
- Analyze data and derive conclusions via statistical analysis.
- Leverage Generative AI tools to accelerate routine analytical workflows, such as script generation and visualization.
- Create operational reports for Celestica's operations and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with Global Quality operations worldwide to achieve objectives.
- Participate in Global Quality programs deployment and support.
- Participate in teleconferences and meetings with global counterparts.
- Participate in volunteering activities within Celestica's volunteer programs.
- Create and update website content and produce quality communications.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a University internship program and have completed your third year of studies.
- No formal experience required.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Programming skills in VBA or Python for data processing automation.
- Familiarity with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance data analysis and automation.
- Relational database knowledge and application.
- Statistical knowledge for data processing and decision making.
- Knowledge of Smartsheet and PowerBI.
- Understanding of Google Applications.
- Critical thinking on how to leverage existing resources and technology to bring value.
- Strong analytical skills to present data in an innovative way to business leaders.
- Time and project management, with the ability to prioritize and re-assess schedules effectively.
