Derex Technologies Inc is looking for a Strategy & Growth Lead to play a pivotal role in scaling our South African business. This position acts as a strategic partner to the Country Head, requiring a deep understanding of the business to identify growth opportunities and drive impactful, pragmatic initiatives. Our mission is to bring high-quality hearing care to anyone, anywhere, and this role is central to that growth.

What You'll Do

Act as a thought partner to the Country Head, supporting and challenging priorities and decisions.
Develop a deep end-to-end understanding of the business to spot inefficiencies and unlock growth levers.
Design and implement high-impact pragmatic solutions, from small efficiency changes to large disruptive projects.
Work with business data to extract insights, prepare forecasts, and support strategic decisions.
Build and maintain systems for strategic planning and execution (e.g., dashboards, project tracking tools).
Collaborate with all functions (marketing, sales, partner management, operations) to support their initiatives.
Bridge business and tech by collaborating with global tech teams to implement digital tools, automation, and AI-powered solutions.
Work with international peers to adapt successful initiatives for the South African context.
Influence team culture through leading by example with ownership, excellence, and proactive collaboration.

What We're Looking For

4+ years in management consulting, strategy, business development, operations, or product management.
Strong ability to work with numbers and business data.
Proven track record of leading and implementing cross-functional projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate.
Skilled at identifying challenges, designing solutions, and following through.
Detail-oriented with strong systems-thinking and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive measurable business growth through initiatives led.

Nice to Have

Degree in business, commerce, engineering, or a related field.
MBA or similar postgraduate qualification.
