Banner Bank is hiring a Strategic Sourcing Director to lead our procurement and vendor management initiatives. You will develop and execute sourcing strategies that deliver significant value, mitigate risk, and support the bank's operational goals.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategic sourcing plans across the organization
- Lead vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management processes
- Drive cost savings and value creation through data-driven analysis and supplier relationships
- Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for vendor performance and spend management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks within the supply chain and vendor portfolio
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align procurement activities
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a senior strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management leadership role
- Expert knowledge of sourcing methodologies, contract law, and negotiation strategies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex data and financial models
- Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to develop and execute multi-year strategies that align with business objectives
Work Mode
This is a remote position. Candidates must reside and be authorized to work in one of the following states: Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Utah, Montana, Nevada, Colorado, or Arizona.
