CVS Health is looking for an Operations Manager-CA to drive store performance and build consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. As a member of the Store Management team, you will support the Store Manager in the total leadership and strategic operation of a CVS/pharmacy store by leading by example and maintaining an engaged, productive team.
What You'll Do
- Support the Store Manager in overall store management, supervision, and policy implementation.
- Manage sales, inventory, and financials.
- Handle employee staffing, training, and development.
- Lead customer service initiatives and effectively communicate with store crews.
- Supervise, assign, and direct the activities of the store's crew.
- Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
- Promote CVS customer service culture by greeting, offering help, and thanking customers.
- Support the Store Manager with action plans for operational and service improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Deductive reasoning ability, advanced analytical skills, and computer skills.
- Advanced communication skills, leadership, supervision, and influencing skill.
- Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and respond to urgent store issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Nice to Have
- Experience as a retail manager or supervisor.
