DoorDash is hiring a Team Lead, People Services to lead and develop a team of HR Service Desk Analysts based in Mexico City. In this role, you will be critical in ensuring a responsive, efficient, and data-driven employee support experience as part of our People Operations organization.
What You'll Do
- Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team of HR Service Desk Analysts.
- Set clear goals, track performance against SLAs, and create a culture of ownership and accountability.
- Own day-to-day team performance, ensure consistent and timely case resolution, and continuously refine workflows.
- Leverage data and dashboards to monitor team health and performance metrics like ticket volumes and resolution rates.
- Actively engage in global process redesigns and HR automation efforts.
- Continuously gather feedback and drive improvements that enhance the employee journey.
- Maintain alignment with HR policies and regional labor laws.
- Support knowledge management efforts to document and standardize team procedures.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5+ years of HR experience.
- 2+ years managing People or HR support teams.
- Experience leading offshore or remote teams, ideally in Mexico or LATAM.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Comfort with traveling to Mexico City several times per year.
- Fluent in Workday and experienced in navigating HR systems.
- Experience managing queues, hitting SLAs, and driving service excellence.
- Ability to lead with empathy, build strong team culture, and coach for performance.
- Thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments and bring structure to ambiguity.
- Data-driven, process-minded, and eager to help shape global transformation.
- Fluent in Google Workspace, especially advanced Google Sheets.
