Solventum is looking for a Supervisor Manufacturing to oversee and lead our production operations. In this role, you will provide direct leadership to a team of hourly technical employees, ensuring compliance with policies and driving continuous improvement to help us enable better, smarter, safer healthcare.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct supervision to hourly technical employees.
- Inspire integrity by upholding and complying with Solventum policies and guidelines.
- Provide leadership for assigned operations by fostering cross-functional teamwork and communicating organizational goals.
- Review operational issues with quality and engineering teams to resolve process, maintenance, and equipment problems.
- Determine daily priorities, allocate work assignments, communicate expectations, and monitor workflow.
- Review department expenses, overtime hours, scrap, and yield loss to recommend cost savings programs.
- Conduct department crew meetings to review team performance and celebrate successes.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide coaching, feedback, and disciplinary actions.
- Lead and participate in Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement activities.
- Complete administrative duties such as time reporting, attendance control, and vacation planning.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree or higher AND 7 years of experience in Manufacturing, Quality, and/or Supply Chain
- OR a High School Diploma/GED AND 11 or more years of experience in Manufacturing, Quality, and/or Supply Chain
- AND 7 years of managing experience in a Manufacturing, Quality, and/or Supply Chain environment
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Nice to Have
- Technical proficiency in medical device repair or complex electronics repair
- MS Office proficiency
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and project experience

- Compensation: $94,018 - $114,911 base pay plus variable incentive pay
