About the Role

bits&birds GmbH is seeking a Strategic Sales Manager to shape the future of sustainability. You'll be responsible for selling our innovative SaaS platform, which brings transparency to complex supply chains and contributes to circular economy and ESG goals.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the entire B2B sales process from lead identification to contract closure.
  • Advise customers on our data-driven digital platform with a focus on sustainability, the circular economy, and ESG.
  • Build and develop long-term customer relationships, especially at the decision-maker and C-level.
  • Handle complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and longer decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and partners for optimal solution positioning.
  • Strategically develop existing customers and identify upselling potential.
  • Observe the market and competition, contributing ideas for the further development of sales strategies.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in B2B sales, ideally within SaaS, platform, or digital solution environments.
  • A pronounced consultative, solution-oriented sales approach.
  • Experience in dealing with complex products and solutions that require explanation.
  • Confident presence at management and C-level.
  • Routine in handling long sales cycles and multiple decision-makers.
  • A strong interest in sustainability, digitalization, and data-driven business models.
  • An independent, structured way of working and strong closing skills.
  • Very good German and English language skills.
