Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Strategic Sales Executive to join a fast-growing technology startup focused on sustainability and innovation. In this high-impact, fully remote role, you will drive new business by prospecting and closing mid-market and enterprise accounts, with full ownership of the sales process from initial contact through to close.
What You'll Do
- Drive new business by strategically prospecting and closing mid-market and enterprise accounts in the restaurant, convenience store, and hospitality sectors.
- Engage in outbound outreach via cold calls, emails, and social platforms to generate leads and build a strong pipeline.
- Execute full-cycle sales activities—from initial contact through closing—with support from inbound leads and SDRs.
- Understand customer business challenges and effectively communicate tailored solutions.
- Navigate multi-stakeholder sales processes, identifying and influencing key decision-makers.
- Consistently exceed monthly quotas, KPIs, and activity goals.
- Maintain accurate records of pipeline activities, forecasts, and account updates in HubSpot.
- Become a power user and advocate of the platform to demonstrate its value to clients.
What We're Looking For
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience in a sales or sales support role.
- Strong understanding of the challenges facing multi-location food service and retail operations, especially in energy, IoT, and emissions reduction.
- Demonstrated success in high-volume sales cycles, with a competitive drive and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a collaborative, coachable mindset.
- Proficiency in using CRMs such as HubSpot or Salesforce for managing pipeline and forecasting.
- A strong interest in sustainability and climate impact, with motivation to contribute to a mission-driven organization.
- Professional resilience and adaptability, with a proactive approach to personal development and team success.
