Position Overview
This role is responsible for advancing clinical quality and patient safety across dialysis facilities in the Southern NJ and Delaware region. The manager leads quality assurance and performance improvement efforts, ensuring alignment with federal, state, and organizational standards. By evaluating clinical practices and driving evidence-based changes, this position plays a key role in sustaining high-quality care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or actively contribute to Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives in accordance with CMS and regulatory requirements.
- Design and execute action plans to correct identified gaps and strengthen clinical processes.
- Conduct routine audits and clinical reviews to verify adherence to policies and protocols.
- Deliver training and educational resources to staff on quality standards, patient safety, and regulatory updates.
- Partner with physicians, nursing staff, dietitians, social workers, and operations leaders to implement best practices.
- Generate and present performance data and quality metrics to leadership and oversight committees.
- Ensure consistent, accurate documentation and reporting across all quality-related activities.
- Support the achievement of defined quality performance indicators and clinical improvement goals.
- Drive a culture focused on accountability, continuous learning, and patient-centered care.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support clinical excellence.
Qualifications
Required
- Licensed Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of three years of experience in dialysis care.
- At least two years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities with a focus on problem-solving.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Skilled at building collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
- Adaptable in fast-changing clinical environments with shifting priorities.
Preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or related healthcare degree.
- Certification in Nephrology Nursing or quality improvement credentials.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position with significant field-based responsibilities. The role requires 60%–80% travel between assigned clinics and community locations, with an additional 10%–15% for regional or corporate meetings. Flexibility is essential to support multiple sites across the region.
