About the Role

EvenUp is hiring a Strategic Account Manager based in Houston, Texas. This role partners with our most impactful enterprise accounts in key local markets. You will drive growth, retention, and strategic planning through on-site engagement and deep customer relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect, develop, and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities and contract renewals.
  • Partner with EvenUp product and executive teams to develop and execute long-term success plans aligned with customer objectives.
  • Lead a portfolio of 5-10 key accounts, ensuring personalized, high-touch support and strategic guidance.
  • Be present with clients at least once a week to build trust, understand evolving goals, and ensure alignment.
  • Advocate for customer needs internally, providing insights to Product, Finance, and Engineering to improve offerings.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years in Strategic Customer Success or Key Account Management.
  • Proven track record managing a few large, complex accounts with $1M+ in ARR or equivalent scope.
  • Skilled at working with every level of the business: executive stakeholders, operations leaders, contributors.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking ownership without needing constant direction.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication to ensure customer feedback is woven into product and service enhancements.
  • Comfortable engaging with regular in-person meetings, drop-ins, trainings within a two hour drive.
