Braze is hiring a Strategic Account Executive - Enterprise Hunter/Farmer

About the Role

Braze is hiring a Strategic Account Executive to spearhead growth by securing new enterprise logos and expanding our footprint within those accounts. You will focus on selling Google Marketing Platform licenses and SaaS solutions, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.

What You'll Do

  • Drive the full sales cycle for new enterprise clients, with a focus on achieving a ~$2.25M annual quota (75% new logos, 25% expansion).
  • Develop and execute strategies to self-source approximately 50% of new business opportunities using modern sales tools.
  • Master the product suite within the first 90 days to build a robust pipeline and close your first deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—including Marketing, SDRs, and Customer Success—to orchestrate resources and navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
  • Manage and expand new accounts for the first 12 months following initial new logo closed won, identifying and closing cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Maintain meticulous records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasting within Salesforce.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven track record of exceeding a $2M+ annual quota in a B2B SaaS or technology solutions environment.
  • Demonstrated success in landing and expanding large, complex enterprise accounts.
  • Skilled prospector, comfortable self-sourcing at least half of your pipeline.
  • Experience in executive-level selling and managing intricate stakeholder relationships.
  • Excel at internal sales orchestration, knowing who to pull in and when to advance a deal.
  • Deeply curious, an avid learner, and passionate about staying at the forefront of technology.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

Nice to Have

  • Background in digital analytics, marketing technology, or data-driven SaaS.
  • Technically fluent with Google Marketing Platform.
  • Experience leveraging partner ecosystems and alliances to generate new pipeline.
  • Excited about the potential of AI and have experience representing a company at conferences or webinars.
