Lead talent acquisition for retail management roles in the D.C. and Baltimore markets, guiding the full hiring journey from role opening to onboarding. You’ll design targeted attraction strategies that connect top candidates with opportunities, ensuring a seamless and positive experience at every stage.
What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end recruitment for store leadership positions, aligning with district and regional leaders to anticipate and fill talent needs
- Build and maintain a pipeline of future talent through networking, university engagement, and community outreach
- Deliver hiring insights and recommendations to leadership, using data to refine sourcing and selection
- Train store teams on recruiting tools and processes, spending regular time in locations to support hiring efforts
- Support new store launches and ongoing talent initiatives through project coordination and cross-functional collaboration
- Travel up to 35% within the region for recruiting events, interviews, training, and market engagement
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- At least one year of experience in talent acquisition or people operations
- Proven ability to assess candidates, manage high-volume hiring, and adapt to shifting priorities
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging leadership
- A passion for retail, talent development, and continuous improvement
- Curiosity about recruitment technology and a drive to innovate hiring practices
