The University of Chicago is looking for a Warehouse Stock Clerk I to ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse at the University of Chicago Press Distribution Center. You will perform critical daily tasks essential for order fulfillment and inventory management.
What You'll Do
- Accurately pick orders from warehouse shelves based on customer requests.
- Efficiently pack orders to ensure secure and safe shipping.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation for outbound shipments.
- Collaborate closely with other warehouse staff to maintain an organized and efficient environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are accurate and current.
- Assist with the receiving and unpacking of incoming shipments.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall operations.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to read and calculate simple mathematical problems.
Nice to Have
- Warehouse order fulfillment experience.
- Familiarity or previous experience with scan guns.

- Compensation: $17.26 - $18.40 per hour

Work Mode
This is an onsite position located at the University of Chicago Press Distribution Center in the Historic Pullman District near 110th Langley, Chicago, IL.
