Palo Alto Networks is hiring a Staff TAC Enablement Engineer to operate at the crucial intersection of Support/TAC and Engineering. This role empowers you to drive decisions and act as a thought leader within Global Customer Services, focusing on improving supportability and usability for products like Cortex Cloud.
What You’ll Do
- Enable TAC teams through both ad hoc assistance and structured training sessions.
- Take ownership of critical customer issues, focusing on the technical driver, and work with TAC and engineering on replication and communication.
- Identify supportability and usability requirements for new products during design and post-GA phases.
- Develop and deliver training materials for TAC via white papers and internal sessions.
- Build tools to provide TAC with better visibility and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Identify and contribute to unplanned projects that improve customer experience, reduce cost, or enhance security.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years in support roles, directly interfacing with large global customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Experience with technologies and services from Public Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, Alibaba).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Scripting proficiency in JS, Python, or Powershell.
- Strong operational knowledge of both Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Required experience with Kubernetes implementation and troubleshooting.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience as an Enablement Engineer or an Escalations Engineer.
- Experience training internal technical teams.

Benefits & Compensation
- Annual salary range: $123,200 - $199,100
- Compensation includes equity in the form of restricted stock units.
