Responsibilities
- Design and build systems from the ground up, balancing risk with long-term maintainability.
- Lead the development, testing, and release of products requiring high correctness and scalability, such as personal finance scenario builders and tax calculators.
- Manage complex integrations in personal finance to ensure smooth customer experiences and accurate financial reporting.
- Influence product strategy and technical organization by contributing to the product development process, including scoping what and how to build for speed and elegant user experience.
Requirements
- Strong technical expertise with deep experience in building, deploying, monitoring, and scaling modern serverless or container-based systems.
- A bias for action, moving quickly and preferring to launch and gather early data over perfection, knowing when to hack a solution versus building robust long-term systems.
- Good product sense to weigh tradeoffs and suggest creative solutions for delivering the best product to customers under resource and time constraints.
- Autonomy to choose work and maximize personal impact.
