Responsibilities

  • Promotes a safe, compliant, and efficient workplace by adhering to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Acts as the primary site contact for Operational Excellence within the Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Develops site-specific procedures that align with corporate IMS standards and ensure compliance.
  • Creates and deploys tools that support effective Operational Excellence workflows.
  • Ensures consistent use of procedures and supporting tools across operational teams.
  • Offers guidance and performance feedback to operations staff and supervisors on procedure adherence and tool usage.
  • Conducts regular audits and field observations, using findings to implement corrective actions for ongoing improvement.
  • Guarantees consistent application of disciplinary measures across all site teams.
  • Leads administrative investigations as required.
  • Provides indirect oversight to Production Superintendents regarding Operational Excellence compliance and tool utilization.
  • Collaborates with the Operations Leadership Team to refine procedures, processes, and tools.
  • Leads or supports resolution of Gensuite-reported incidents within the assigned area.
  • Enforces compliance with labor agreements, company policies, and process standards.
  • Designs and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) for Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Manages end-to-end execution of the Validate & Verify process.
  • Partners with supervisors and trainers to ensure full compliance training for all operators and staff.
  • Encourages team performance to meet daily operational goals.
  • Drives accountability, collaboration, and morale while achieving performance targets.
  • Assesses options and makes timely, effective decisions in a dynamic environment to sustain operations.
  • Coordinates the Production Supervisors peer group to enhance operational continuity.
  • Performs additional tasks as needed or directed.

  • Must be physically capable of working around industrial equipment, including climbing stairs and ladders, and entering confined spaces; must be able to wear required PPE such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, boots, hearing protection, and respirators in designated zones.
