Delek US Holdings, Inc. is looking for a Staff Refinery Operations Specialist to manage and administer elements of the Operations Excellence Management System. In this critical role, you will own continuous improvement and continuity from a work process and tools perspective, ensuring operational excellence processes are well defined, uniformly delivered, and executed across the Operations organization.
What You'll Do
- Serve as Site administrator for all IMS – Operational Excellence elements.
- Develop site procedures aligned with and compliant to corporate IMS standards.
- Develop and rollout tools to support Operational Excellence work processes.
- Monitor for and manage uniform application of site procedures and associated tools across Area Business teams.
- Provide coaching and feedback to operating teams and Production Supervisors on procedure compliance and tools implementation.
- Conduct audits and observations, developing and implementing corrective actions for continuous improvement.
- Ensure any formal discipline is administered consistently across the site and business teams.
- Serve as investigation lead for administrative investigations.
- Maintain “dotted line” administrative responsibility for Production Superintendents, focusing on Operational Excellence processes.
- Engage with other members of the Operations Leadership Team in development of procedures, processes, and tools.
- Lead or assist in the investigation and closure of Gensuite incidents in assigned area.
- Ensure adherence to Labor Agreement, Company policies and process standards.
- Develop and monitor KPIs for Operational Excellence processes and tools.
- Own and manage the Validate & Verify process.
What We're Looking For
- Associate Degree or 2-year degree (Required).
- Four (4) or more years supervisory/management experience (Required).
- Ten (10) or more years experience in a refining, petrochemical, or chemical role (Required).

- In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
