Checkly is hiring a Staff Product Manager to empower developers to own and ensure application performance and reliability. In this fully remote role, you will lead product initiatives in the monitoring and observability space, working cross-functionally and representing Checkly externally.
What You'll Do
- Learn the monitoring and observability market to identify opportunities to elevate our products.
- Use empathy for DevOps, SRE, and Engineering teams to create solutions for their daily challenges.
- Understand market dynamics in testing, monitoring, and observability to advance Checkly and our customer base.
- Focus on impact while being mindful of speed, efficiency, and cost.
- Lead initiatives across multiple teams, aligning stakeholders in Product, Engineering, Design, Sales, and Marketing.
- Represent Checkly externally in key customer relationships and developer communities.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Product Manager for a technical product, preferably solving problems for engineers.
- An engineering background that helps you understand our developer customers.
- A self-motivated, highly driven individual eager to do things differently.
- A belief in autonomy and empowered teams solving customer problems in a remote environment.
- Hands-on use of coding abilities and AI tooling to understand customers, create mock designs, assess technical viability, and write micro-copy.
- Experience shipping multiple product features for developers from concept to delivery.
- Ability to manage "big bang" launches as well as early access, beta, and staged rollouts using feature flags to reduce risk.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally, collaborate, influence, and operate as part of a team.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Ability to be autonomous and self-motivated in a remote work environment while enjoying team collaboration.
- Ability to work fully remotely within the UTC-3 to UTC+3 time zones.
