About the Role

Stem US Operations Inc. is seeking a Staff Marketing and Communications Manager to join our Corporate Marketing team. You'll be responsible for shaping and executing integrated marketing initiatives that strengthen our brand, support business objectives, and engage key stakeholders across customers, partners, media, and investors. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution at the intersection of brand, storytelling, and business impact.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute integrated campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels to support brand awareness and business objectives
  • Contribute to website and digital content strategy, including messaging and campaign pages aligned with go-to-market priorities
  • Develop and execute strategic communications plans for external audiences, including media relations and stakeholder engagement
  • Serve as a key point of contact for media interactions, managing inquiries and coordinating interviews
  • Partner with marketing leadership to align brand messaging and communications strategies across all external channels
  • Collaborate with executive staff to develop key messaging themes and narratives for company goals and product launches
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content including press releases, executive communications, blog posts, and thought leadership articles
  • Support internal communications initiatives to promote organizational alignment and employee engagement
  • Support executive preparation for media interviews, speaking engagements, and industry events
  • Manage relationships with external PR agencies, media organizations, and communication vendors
  • Promote events, conferences, and tradeshows through targeted communication activities

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, marketing communications, or a related field
  • Proven track record developing and executing strategic communications campaigns that drive business results
  • Strong, versatile writing skills with experience authoring press releases, executive communications, and external-facing content
  • Experience managing media relations activities and serving as a company spokesperson or key media contact
  • Demonstrated ability to distill complex technical and industry topics into clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency with communications tools and platforms such as content management systems, email marketing platforms, and social media
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, sales, and executive leadership
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the renewable energy, solar, or energy storage industry
  • Knowledge of clean energy technology and sustainability topics
  • Familiarity with crisis communications and issues management
  • Experience with investor relations communications
  • Understanding of B2B communications strategies and enterprise audiences
  • Certification in public relations or communications such as APR accreditation

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation range: $111,680.00 - $167,520.00
  • Competitive compensation package, including eligibility for a bonus or commission
