Renesas Electronics is looking for a Staff Engineer Agentic Product Developer to join our System-on-Chip AI team. You will build AI-first products that redefine autonomy and adaptability, turning innovative ideas into impactful products for intelligent devices.
What You'll Do
- Own the full lifecycle of AI-first agentic systems, from rapid ideation and requirements gathering through architecture, implementation, and launch.
- Work with hardware, software, and product teams to embed AI capabilities for agentic behavior onto smart devices.
- Experiment with and deploy the latest AI models and algorithms like reinforcement learning and multi-agent systems.
- Tune AI solutions for high performance, efficient power usage, and reliability on Renesas SoC platforms.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in CS, EE, Math, Stats, or Physics.
- Hands-on artifacts from AI product development, such as real-world agentic projects or a public GitHub.
- Deep expertise in building autonomous agents, reinforcement learning solutions, and deploying adaptive algorithms.
- Fluent in Python and C/C++.
- Proven experience with AI frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in hardware/software co-design.
- Hands-on experience building and optimizing embedded software for resource-constrained devices.
- A track record of shipping AI and embedded products to market.
