Join CoinTracker as a Staff Backend Engineer, Enterprise and play a critical role in shaping our backend architecture and building transformative crypto products. You will be part of our close-knit, early-stage distributed team, driving high-impact engineering initiatives for our new Enterprise product from the ground up.

What You'll Do

Architect backend systems, including serving as the foundation for a new 0-1 product.
Lead and drive critical technical projects, making high-impact decisions that shape the product and ensure long-term maintainability and performance.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and other teams to align technical execution with early-stage product goals and customer feedback.
Mentor and guide engineers, fostering technical excellence and best practices across the team.
Continuously improve system performance, observability, and maintainability to support rapid iteration.
Take ownership in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment, balancing speed with technical rigor in service of early customer needs.

What We're Looking For

8+ years of backend engineering experience.
Strong CS fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, system design, and performance optimization.
Proven experience building and scaling products through rapid growth phases.
Track record of technical leadership, leading complex projects, mentoring engineers, and setting engineering standards.
Experience with large-scale data ingestion and processing systems.
Drawn to an early-stage, high-growth startup environment.
Fluent in Python.
