As a Senior Back End Developer, you will lead the creation of high-performance, scalable backend systems that form the foundation of next-generation digital products. You'll take ownership of the full development lifecycle—from architecture and coding to deployment and optimization—ensuring solutions are built for resilience, security, and long-term growth.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop robust backend services in Python using frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI, with an emphasis on clean, maintainable code and efficient data modeling.
- Build secure, well-documented RESTful APIs that power frontend applications and third-party integrations.
- Architect cloud-based systems using event-driven and serverless patterns on platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure consistent, repeatable deployments.
- Orchestrate containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes, maintaining reliability across distributed environments.
- Optimize performance across both SQL and NoSQL databases, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, clearly communicating trade-offs and constraints.
What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience developing backend systems with Python and a strong grasp of the ecosystem.
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms and experience designing for scalability and fault tolerance.
- Hands-on knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and other data storage technologies.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing practices.
- Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and mentor others through technical challenges.
- Strong communication skills, especially in explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience deploying and managing applications in AWS.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js for full-stack collaboration.
- Active involvement in open-source projects, developer communities, or technical writing.
