What You'll Do
Take end-to-end ownership of complex technical challenges, from initial design through deployment and refinement. Build and maintain reliable, scalable software within a continuous delivery pipeline, focusing on performance and maintainability. Collaborate closely with cross-functional Agile teams to define, develop, and release impactful product features.
Drive improvements in system architecture and infrastructure, ensuring solutions align with long-term goals. Contribute ideas that enhance both code quality and team effectiveness. Foster a learning culture by mentoring others and promoting best practices in software engineering.
Requirements
- Demonstrate strong foundational knowledge in computer science, including algorithms, data structures, and system design
- Have at least five years of hands-on experience developing and supporting SaaS platforms
- Proven ability to lead technical work from concept to completion, even when requirements are evolving
- Strong proficiency in Python and building optimized RESTful APIs
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Gitlab CI/CD or Jenkins
- Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes
- Track record of successful collaboration with engineers and product teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Show initiative in learning and helping others grow, with a mindset oriented toward continuous improvement
- Highly organized, responsible, and able to thrive in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS
- Experience using modern Python frameworks including Django, FastAPI, or Flask
- Background with search and analytics engines like OpenSearch or Elasticsearch
- Exposure to big data ecosystems such as Hadoop and Spark
- Hands-on work with distributed, non-relational databases like Apache HBase
