What You'll Do
Guide clients through the trademark process by conducting comprehensive searches and delivering clear assessments on mark strength and registrability. Prepare and file a high volume of trademark applications with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, and respond to Office actions with precision. Support senior attorneys by managing case workflows and reducing administrative burdens, allowing more time for strategic legal counsel. Help advance the mission of increasing access to legal services by streamlining how small businesses protect their brands.
Requirements
- Active license to practice law in Arizona or Washington, D.C.
- 0–5 years of legal experience, with a focus on intellectual property
- Demonstrated commitment to legal ethics and professional responsibility
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Clear, effective communication skills when explaining legal concepts to non-lawyers
- Proficiency with digital tools and document management systems
- Self-driven attitude with adaptability in a fast-moving, remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Patent bar eligibility or admission is a plus
