Responsibilities
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing tasks and prepare financial reports for management review and consolidation.
- Create and maintain reconciliations, resolving outstanding items accurately and promptly.
- Process and review payment requests efficiently, adhering to accounting principles, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Maintain vendor master records, fixed asset records, and other daily operational tracking logs.
- Manage lease accounting schedules and record related journal entries per applicable accounting standards.
- Assist with property tax filings, business licenses, annual reports, and income tax support schedules.
- Support quarterly reviews, annual audits, and tax engagements by preparing schedules, gathering documentation, and responding to CPA inquiries.
- Identify opportunities to implement AI and automation in accounting and finance processes to improve accuracy, reduce manual work, and enhance operational effectiveness.
- Perform ad hoc analyses, reporting, and project support as directed by management.
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
