Responsibilities
- Spend most of the day driving a company vehicle to safely transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials.
- Use a handheld scanning device to accurately track items throughout the transportation cycle.
- Follow all operating policies, procedures, and service schedules strictly.
- Present a professional appearance and interact courteously with clients and the public.
- Load and unload company vehicles using appropriate equipment.
- Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean, neat, and orderly.
- Perform all duties across various routes as assigned, with route assignments subject to change based on client and business needs.
- Show teamwork, cooperation, and adaptability with teammates and clients.
- Help build and nurture a collaborative team culture at MedSpeed.
