Responsibilities
- Lead discussions with business and engineering stakeholders to resolve reporting issues, improve workflows, and identify key initiatives
- Supervise, coach, and support junior analysts to promote professional growth and alignment with company objectives
- Oversee project timelines, planning, and progress tracking to ensure timely, on-budget, and high-quality delivery
- Act as the main point of contact between technical and non-technical groups to maintain clear, consistent communication and shared understanding
- Evaluate complex business and reporting needs and convert them into technical deliverables such as requirements, data models, dbt code, SQL queries, and report designs
- Advocate for process optimization, cross-functional alignment, and data-driven decision-making
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Finance teams to build, test, and maintain dbt models for operational, financial, and banking reports
- Develop, refine, verify, and debug advanced SQL queries used in regulatory, partner, executive, and internal reporting
- Convert business and compliance reporting needs into robust data structures, metric definitions, and reporting datasets while maintaining data integrity and traceability
- Conduct data examination, reconciliation, and validation to confirm outputs meet internal, regulatory, and partner standards
- Work with engineering teams to define data quality benchmarks, testing protocols, and documentation practices for analytics and reporting systems
