Pratt & Whitney (RTX Corporation) is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Representative to serve as the primary on-site quality point of contact at a supplier in the greater Cincinnati, OH area. In this remote position, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, resolving production challenges, and ensuring adherence to quality standards to support our mission of transforming the future of flight.
What You'll Do
- Create and maintain key relationships with Suppliers’ Quality and Operations Management teams, P&W Engineering, Procurement, and support organizations to resolve production challenges.
- Communicate to various levels of Pratt & Whitney Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations Leadership.
- Resolve open questions and turnbacks to support the disposition of non-conforming material.
- Train and guide the supplier in various aspects of the Pratt & Whitney Quality Management System.
- Manage the Authorization to Release program at the vendor inclusive of execution of the delegated quality release process to support material flow.
- Review, approve, and provide guidance to the supplier with respect to First Article Inspection execution per AS9102.
- Support the Vendor Corrective Action Board.
- Conduct surveillance audits at the supplier and support regulatory audits.
- Engage with other Pratt & Whitney supplier quality focal points to resolve problems and drive closure to improve the supplier's overall quality signature.
- Execute APQP with a focus on AS13004 and AS13006.
- Hold suppliers accountable for root cause and corrective actions and monitor sustainable corrective action effectiveness.
- Support continuous improvement, producibility, and inspection improvement initiatives and drive implementation of projects.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality, Industrial, Manufacturing, or equivalent, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering, OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of experience.
- Experience working in an aerospace manufacturing and quality environment.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in AS9100 and AS13100.
- Experience in Quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, RCCA, PFMEA, GD&T, Gage R&R, and PPAP.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Pratt & Whitney specifications.
- Knowledge of Airfoil product definition practices and inspection tools.
- Knowledge of CMM inspection practices and interpretation of results.
- ASQ Certification, Red-X, or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

Work Mode
