Zapier seeks a Sr. Product Manager, Functions to lead the initiative around unified code tools. You will drive the next evolution of Zapier’s code-based automation tools into a single, reusable experience, partnering with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to define the strategy for making code-based automation key for Zapier’s future.
What You'll Do
- Drive the product vision and roadmap for new reusable, shareable code assets.
- Engage deeply with customers, using real-world usage, feedback, and migration pain points to guide prioritization and evolution of the product.
- Partner closely with engineers and designers to shape a high-quality code development experience.
- Work across teams to embed code experiences seamlessly into Zapier’s core product and develop a consistent experience for calling and managing reusable components.
- Help define go-to-market strategies to support both self-serve power users and enterprise adoption of reusable code assets.
- Bring clarity and focus to ambiguity, saying no when needed and staying aligned with business and customer needs.
- Communicate a vision for Zapier’s Unified Code Experience over the next 3–12 months and build a roadmap to match that vision.
- Work in a small, cross-functional team alongside engineering and design to decide what to build next and deliver it.
- Talk with users, as well as internal stakeholders to understand pain points and opportunities.
- Work closely with engineers to scope and deliver features that balance developer experience, system performance, and cost.
- Define and track success metrics and use data to guide prioritization and product strategy.
- Collaborate on positioning and go-to-market planning for major product launches.
What We're Looking For
- Thrive in the 0–1 and 1–10 product phases and have led products through their earliest go-to-market stages toward broader adoption.
- Talk to users regularly and use their needs and insights to justify roadmap decisions and resolve ambiguity.
- Comfortable in discussions about system design, SDKs, and API architecture.
- Balance short-term delivery and long-term investment. Know when to experiment, when to refine, and when to scale.
- Comfortable evolving strategies and roadmaps based on feedback, metrics, and real-world usage.
- Have a pulse on what’s happening across the company and collaborate deeply with other teams to deliver cohesive experiences.
- Skilled written communicator, able to clearly communicate product strategy, decisions, and vision to varied audiences.

This role reports to the Director of Product for Workflow. You’ll collaborate with brilliant people, use the latest tools, and leverage the flexibility of remote work.
Work Mode
This is a global remote role open to candidates in the Americas (North, Central and South America).
