Raymond James is seeking a Sr. Outbound AdvisorChoice Consultant to drive recruitment growth by strategically cultivating partnerships and relationships with Financial Advisors. In this role, you will leverage your recruiting and financial services expertise to initiate a high volume of outbound calls, using a consultative approach to help advisors explore affiliation opportunities and advance them through the recruiting process.
What You'll Do
- Initiate a high volume of outbound sales calls, including cold calls to advisors, and keep existing prospects engaged with their recruiting partners.
- Source experienced financial advisors and/or financial institutions interested in affiliating with Raymond James to meet specific recruiting goals.
- Make referrals based on analysis of a best-fit business model profiling process, including next-step exploration.
- Set meetings for recruiters and managers.
- Make outbound calls to schedule, confirm, and follow up after meetings.
- Identify other business models based on advisor feedback and in consultation with recruiting partners.
- Cultivate relationships with all recruiting partners.
- Assist in the development of business development strategies.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or financial services.
- Knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of business development in a financial services environment.
- Knowledge of investment concepts, practices, and procedures used in the securities industry.
- Knowledge of principles of finance and securities industry operations.
- Knowledge of financial markets and products.
- Skill in sourcing and developing sales prospects using a proprietary CRM.
- Skill in cultivating business development strategies.
- Skill in making a high volume of outbound cold calls and turning them into recruiting opportunities.
- Skill in maintaining relationships with recruiting partners.
- Skill in effective questioning and listening techniques, including handling of objections.
- Skill in operating standard office equipment and using required software applications.
- Ability to partner with other areas of the firm to accomplish objectives.
- Ability to research, interpret, analyze, and apply information about prospects.
- Ability to organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to use appropriate interpersonal styles and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
