Role Overview
As the Sr. Operations Risk Analyst, you will partner with leadership to advance the organization's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program. Your expertise will help shape how risks are identified, assessed, and controlled across operations, ensuring alignment with internal standards and regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply in-depth knowledge of credit union operations to detect, evaluate, and monitor operational risk exposure across departments.
- Support the development and upkeep of the institution’s risk management framework, policies, and control documentation.
- Pinpoint critical operational workflows for review, assessing their design and effectiveness of existing controls.
- Maintain and update the risk and control repository within the GRC platform as processes, policies, or regulations evolve.
- Collaborate with department leaders and risk specialists to analyze, score, and address high-impact risks through effective mitigation strategies.
- Lead risk assessment efforts across business units, ensuring consistent methodology and documentation.
- Manage the Reportable Events program by collecting data from internal teams and external partners, conducting root cause analysis, and tracking outcomes.
- Prepare detailed risk reports and presentations for senior leadership, committees, and governance bodies on a recurring basis.
- Participate in audits, strategic projects, and cross-functional reviews, providing risk insights and recommendations.
- Help build risk awareness by developing training materials and educational resources for staff at all levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
- 4–5 years of experience within a financial services environment, preferably in risk, audit, or compliance roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Visio is required.

Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary ranges from $82,051 to $98,462, with eligibility for an annual performance-based bonus.
