Role Overview
Join a global technology organization focused on advancing digital infrastructure. We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to lead network architecture, optimization, and security initiatives. This is a fully remote position with a focus on supporting operations across Latin America.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade network systems including LAN, WAN, and wireless infrastructure
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability
- Implement and maintain network security protocols, firewalls, and encryption standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with cloud platforms and data centers
- Document network configurations, performance metrics, and change management procedures
- Support disaster recovery planning and network resilience strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise network engineering
- Proven experience with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent networking platforms
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, and IP addressing
- Familiarity with SD-WAN, MPLS, and network automation tools is preferred
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly valued
Work Environment
This role operates in a flexible, remote setup with team members distributed across regions. You must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and available during overlapping business hours with regional stakeholders. Occasional after-hours work may be required for maintenance or incident response.
