Cox Automotive is looking for a Sr Mobile Vehicle Inspector to join the Manheim Express team serving the Clarksville, TN and Hopkinsville, KY regions. In this role, you will provide accurate and complete documentation of overall vehicle condition, directly supporting our mission to transform the automotive marketplace.

What You'll Do

Locate, start, move, inspect, and return vehicles on dealer lots safely.
Conduct thorough assessments of vehicle condition following the defined inspection process.
Verify vehicle identification and enter accurate information into the inspection system.
Document vehicle equipment, options, and any damage or inoperable items.
Record the exterior condition of tires, frame, glass, panels, and mechanical components.
Record the interior condition of seats, dashboard, and options.
Perform basic mechanical checks on powertrain, drivetrain, and electrical components.
Work closely with teammates, field sales, and customer care to create a superior customer experience.
Utilize SalesForce.com for reporting, lead input, and customer performance reviews.
Inform dealers of changes in auction policies and procedures.
Partner with clients to inspect vehicles at their location and request additional inventory.
Model safe behaviors by following all safety and health procedures.

What We're Looking For

High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of experience.
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
Reliable transportation and 100% local field travel.
Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and technical aptitude.
Must be detail-oriented and motivated to work independently with remote supervision.
Ability to multitask, follow directions, and take instruction.
Ability to lift and hold at least 30 lbs. at waist level for extended periods.
Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear.
Frequently required to crouch, bend, and kneel to inspect vehicles.
Strong near vision abilities to identify various types of vehicle damage.
Ability to work effectively in different lighting conditions.
The physical ability and mental acuity to execute duties successfully within required timeframes.

Nice to Have

Extensive automotive knowledge.
Two to three years of automotive-related experience.
Experience navigating handheld and other documentation devices.
Body, paint, and mechanical repair knowledge.
Familiarity with unibody and full-frame construction.

You will be a member of the Manheim Express team for a designated region, working under remote supervision.

Benefits & Compensation

Hourly pay rate: $16.44 - $24.71/hour.
Minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays annually.
