About the Role

DaVita is hiring a Manager, People Services (PSM) to serve as an integral member of the leadership team for assigned business segments. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will be accountable for implementing the human capital strategy and providing strategic HR support that directly impacts business results.

What You'll Do

  • Set objectives and expectations for self and business partners and drive accountability for results.
  • Create and maintain a management process for progressing work activities.
  • Identify and work towards key priorities through executing the human capital strategy.
  • Develop and implement retention strategies to impact patient care.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor/coach to leaders, providing guidance on HR initiatives and partnering to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to identify and address employee development needs, including training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with leaders to identify critical roles and develop succession plans for key positions.
  • Identify high potential employees and create development plans to prepare them for future leadership roles.
  • Monitor and track progress of key talent actions within the business.
  • Conduct regular HR data analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement, and develop appropriate action plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with HR trends and best practices, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to enhance HR processes and practices.
  • Translate broader goals and objectives into measurable deliverables and achieve results.
  • Maintain a broad, strategic perspective while identifying and focusing on crucial details.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employees at all levels, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Drive accountability with partners on how to Lead the DaVita Way as appropriate for their roles.
  • Be accountable for employee engagement scores with a clear action plan to drive results.
  • Collaborate with leaders to define the need for change and identify desired outcomes.
  • Develop change management plans including communication strategies, training programs, and stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Develop and implement communication plans to effectively communicate change to all teammates.
  • Use strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence to influence decision making and gain buy-in from stakeholders.
  • Present data, insights, and recommendations to be influential in supporting the why behind initiatives.
  • Build commitment with stakeholders to create a shared vision and drive organizational change.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Current driver’s license in state of residence and insurable driving record required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on human resources experience as a human resource business partner.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook required.
  • Available for moderate travel (25%-50% overnight).
  • Previous experience leading multi-site Human Capital Strategy.
  • Experience coaching leaders (manager and above).
  • Experience identifying and committed to driving Key Performance Indicators.
  • Philosophies that align with our core values.
  • Demonstrated understanding of what makes the businesses successful, and able to deliver on this.

Nice to Have

  • MBA preferred.
  • Human Resources certification (PHR or SPHR) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as human resources manager strongly preferred.
  • Experience in large (1000+) company preferred.

  • Compensation: $91,000.00 - $147,000.00 per year.
