Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve middleware problems across development, testing, and live environments.
- Carry out deployments of custom-built and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software components.
- Set up, configure, and maintain middleware systems hosted in internal data centers, coordinating with internal teams to ensure high availability.
- Deploy, configure, and oversee middleware platforms in State Data Centers, collaborating with OTech and related state service units to meet uptime standards.
- Create automated scripts to streamline system administration and monitoring tasks.
- Evaluate monitoring data to recommend improvements in middleware performance and operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with senior systems engineers and architects on middleware design, infrastructure planning, and proof-of-concept evaluations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams inside and outside Operations to identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical or procedural challenges.
- Support the creation of operational documentation, including white papers, proposals, deliverables, and technical reports as needed.
