What You'll Do
You'll serve as a technical advisor during the sales process, helping commercial prospects understand how Dash0's platform solves their observability challenges. This means designing custom implementations that align with customer environments, running hands-on proofs of concept, and demonstrating value through working systems rather than slides.
You'll build reusable demo setups and reference architectures that showcase best practices in telemetry data modeling and OpenTelemetry collector configuration. Your work will directly influence how engineering teams adopt observability, ensuring they get measurable outcomes from day one. You'll also collaborate with product teams to share technical insights from the field, helping prioritize features based on real customer needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and deploying solutions on Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure
- Solid understanding of OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, and observability pipelines
- Ability to instrument applications, optimize telemetry ingestion, and troubleshoot performance issues
- Experience explaining technical concepts to both engineering teams and technical executives
- Track record of leading technical sales cycles, from discovery to POC validation
- Strong collaboration skills with experience working across sales, product, and engineering functions
