As a Senior Platform Engineer - Infrastructure, you'll play a key role in shaping the foundation of a cloud-based AI platform transforming the insurance industry. Your work will directly influence system scalability, security, and efficiency across global engineering teams.
What You'll Do
- Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable deployments
- Automate operational processes to reduce manual effort and improve consistency
- Ensure infrastructure complies with security standards and industry regulations
- Monitor system performance and proactively enhance reliability and uptime
- Optimize cloud resource usage to balance cost and performance
- Collaborate with full-stack, data, machine learning, and DevOps engineers to build robust backend systems
- Standardize deployment patterns and environment configurations across teams
- Strengthen observability practices and support incident response workflows
- Scale infrastructure to meet growing platform demands
What We're Looking For
- At least five years of experience in software engineering or infrastructure roles
- Proven expertise in CI/CD, security, performance tuning, and cloud infrastructure
- Solid grasp of system design, debugging, and solving complex technical challenges
- Proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in serverless environments (Lambda, EC2)
- Experience with asynchronous workflows and relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
- Strong command of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, along with Docker and related technologies
- A proactive communicator who identifies blockers early and keeps stakeholders informed
- Someone who takes full ownership of projects and drives them to completion with minimal supervision
- A mindset oriented toward rapid experimentation, data-driven iteration, and continuous improvement
Nice to Have
- Background working with large language models or generative AI systems
- Experience building or maintaining distributed systems

- Salary range: $165,000 – $225,000 USD, based on experience
