AECOM is hiring a Sr. Mechanical Designer specializing in Water and Wastewater projects for our team in Mumbai, India. In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting our Building Information Modeling (BIM) systems, driving project production, and mentoring local design teams.

What You'll Do

Work under general supervision on project production and support.
Provide training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling (BIM) system for creating 3D models.
Direct project support and production, creating drawings using established standards to meet job requirements.
Provide ongoing support for all BIM applications and work closely with the Design Technology Manager.
Guide the transition from traditional BIM practices into more integrated design workflows.
Educate office leadership and operations in the use of BIM tools and assist teams at project onset to manage deliverables and digital project plans.
Generate BIM documents for construction and bidding purposes.
Participate in Mechanical Coordination phases for clash detection using Revit models.
Mentor local Revit leadership, develop project-specific implementation strategies, and collaborate with project teams for BIM success.
Standardize and document Revit workflows and best practices.
Maintain BIM standards and design templates to ensure quality and consistency across global offices.
