Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is hiring a Sr. Manager, Regional Sales to grow the Regional Retailer business revenue of Mobile Experience (MX) products. You will be responsible for a portfolio of accounts, maintaining strategic alignment, implementing sales programs, and attaining sales goals for Samsung’s National Retail team.
What You'll Do
- Drive sales revenue of all product categories across designated Direct and Indirect accounts.
- Maintain daily customer contact to develop new opportunities and manage existing relationships.
- Manage communications, sales promotion development, and training to facilitate product sales.
- Lead cross-functional teams including Product, Field Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to launch new products and solutions.
- Optimize cross-channel sales strategies and resolve internal and external sales issues.
- Solve moderately complex technical problems and respond to non-standard customer requests.
- Develop, execute, and present monthly/annual sell-in, sell-through, and sell-out sales plans.
- Organize, prepare, and present executive summaries and quarterly business reviews.
- Oversee sales order administration, program execution, validation, and channel communication.
- Produce actionable analysis and periodic reporting on key account, market, and industry trends.
- Support and attend customer, distributor, and industry events.
- May be responsible for developing more junior sales staff.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of experience required.
- Outstanding presentation, sales, and interpersonal skills with strong negotiation and client management experience.
- Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication for internal and external audiences.
- High degree of personal initiative and the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Ability to develop tasks and assignments based on sometimes vaguely defined objectives.
- Must be able to make decisions on product assortments, sales programs, and marketing investments.
- Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships at all assigned levels.
- Skill in planning, organizing, and prioritizing multiple assignments and projects.
- Ability to review detailed product development and marketing documents.
- Excellence in MS Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-look ups, and data analysis).
- Up to 25% domestic travel.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in enterprise technology sales, business development, and/or OEM and Carrier sales.
- Experience with large partners/portfolio in excess of $50M.
- Ability to find mutually beneficial solutions to complex problems.
- Strong proficiency in navigating dashboards and data to discover actionable sales insights.
