We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Business Consultant to produce critical business intelligence by querying healthcare data and generating reports. In this role, you will manage the flow of business intelligence and the solutions development lifecycle, translating business requirements into technical solutions that support our Health Plans.
What You'll Do
- Work with cross-functional and business teams to manage the flow of business intelligence to users, supporting business solution planning.
- Manage the solutions development lifecycle and interface with health plan entities and internal business units to identify data patterns, define reporting specifications, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Finalize technical reporting criteria and conduct peer reviews of data results.
- Develop large-scale data structures, pipelines, and efficient ETL workflows to organize, collect, and standardize data to generate insights.
- Synthesize business intelligence and trend data to support recommendations and create presentations illustrating the financial impact of Health Plans.
- Enable real-time analytical solutions using emerging technologies and develop prototypes for complex data engineering projects.
- Integrate business logic with upstream and downstream systems and generate programming logic to validate financial data.
- Develop, implement, test, and deliver innovative analytics solutions, business intelligence tools, and technology architecture.
- Maintain reusable knowledge assets, develop metrics and KPI data layers, and utilize data visualization tools to present information.
- Support the development of data engineering solutions that leverage best practices to profile data, develop efficient ingestion, and build semantic layers from PBM, Specialty, Retail, and Healthcare business data.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations.
- 5+ years of healthcare informatics experience.
- Experience with databases including Microsoft SQL Server, SAS, and SQL programming languages.
- Experience with visualization tools, such as PowerBI or Tableau.
- Software development lifecycle experience.
- Experience writing clean, high-quality, high-performing, scalable code.
- Experience providing domain support for a healthcare or retail pharmacy organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Nice to Have
- EDI experience.
- Experience building business requirement documents.
- Project Management experience in a cross-functional environment.
- Microsoft Visio experience.
